CPK Viana do Castelo
In Portugal, there is a popular saying: "Are you from Braga?" It’s a lighthearted way to ask someone why they left the door open.
This tradition dates back centuries to the Arco da Porta Nova (The Arch of the New Gate) in Braga, one of the cities where JAT Fleet is proudly based. This iconic city gate was built without doors because its people were known for their welcoming spirit and legendary hospitality. At JAT Fleet, we carry this heritage with us across all our offices. For us, leaving the door open is not an oversight. It is our commitment to opening doors for talent. And in this story, that talent has a name: Kiko Correia.
Northern Grit in Motorsport
Bringing the determination of the North to the Viana do Castelo Karting Track Kiko competed in another intense round of the CPK (Campeonato de Portugal de Karting). Anyone watching him on the track quickly realizes that motorsport is about far more than just speed. It is a matter of resilience, focus, and that unexplainable drive to win, something you don’t just see, you feel.
In this sport, as in life, having the best engine isn't enough. You need “unhas”(a Portuguese expression for exceptional handling skills), a cool head to make split-second decisions, and a level of dedication that starts long before the checkered flag drops.
More than a race, a lesson in focus
The atmosphere of the paddock, the intense concentration before stepping into the kart, and the adrenaline of competition all reflect the hard work that JAT Fleet is proud to support.
Promoting grassroots motorsport is, for us, a way of recognizing that the future is built on these core values: precision, effort, and the courage to take risks.
