Two days, hundreds of conversations, and one certainty: the future of fleet management doesn’t fit into an Excel spreadsheet.
The JAT Fleet team was in Luxembourg to take part in Fleet Europe Days, Europe’s leading stage for fleet and mobility decision-makers. Over these two days, we brought live demos of our fleet management platform, plenty of questions in our luggage, and one clear message: time and data are the true engine of fleet management—not files with names like ‘fleet_final_definitive_v3.xlsx’.
Fleet Europe Days: the European hub for fleet management
Fleet Europe Days
It was in this context that JAT Fleet ook part, alongside other players international players, to show how technology can free teams from manual tasks and give them what they need most: time to make decisions.
Less Excel, more strategy.
The question we brought to Luxembourg was simple, but direct:

Even today, many fleet management teams are still buried in scattered files, emails, manual updates, and data that is never fully aligned. This is where JAT Fleet comes in as a fleet management platform that centralises information, automates tasks, and helps teams make faster, better-informed decisions.
Over the two days of the event, we showed how the platform helps companies to:
- Save time by cutting bureaucracy and repetitive tasks related to records, updates, and information control;
- Reduce costs through intelligent reporting and more preventive rather than reactive maintenance;
- Gain control thanks to real-time data that supports both day-to-day and strategic decisions.
We didn’t go to Luxembourg to compete in the Excel championship. We went to show that fleet management can—and should—be done with reliable, centralised information available exactly when it’s needed.
From the stand to the stage: conversations, demos, and a session focused on results.
JAT Fleet representation at Fleet Europe Days was led by Hélder Costa, Vítor Pranto, Catarina Fernandes, and Olga Lameira, who over the two days welcomed visitors, explored synergies, and shared the platform’s vision.
At the stand, the starting point was almost always the same:

From there, conversations evolved into topics such as planned maintenance, cost control, TCO, integration with existing systems, and, of course, the eternal struggle against fragmented information.
On the second day, JAT Fleet also took to the event stage. In a short session, between 3:30 pm and 3:45 pm, Vítor showed how the platform is redefining fleet management through:
- Innovation, by bringing into fleet managers’ day-to-day work features that were previously ‘hidden’ in complex spreadsheets.
- Efficiency,, by automating tasks that consume time and generate little value.
- Time optimisation., by turning data into useful information, ready to be used in real-world decisions.
While many participants were still talking about the difficulty of consolidating data from different sources, our message was clear:
If you’re still chasing information, you’re losing time you could be turning into results.
What we brought back from Luxembourg
More than meeting notes and giveaways, we returned from Luxembourg with a clear set of signals about the direction the sector is heading:
- Real-time data is no longernice to have” and have become a basic expectation for fleet decision-makers;
- Cost pressure is increasingand it’s no longer enough to ‘know how much is being spent’: it’s essential to understand why, and what to do next.
- Automation means gaining breathing roomespecially for small teams that have to do a lot with very limited resources.
Above all, it reinforced the idea we brought with us from day one:
In fleet management, vehicles may be what you see—but it’s time that truly drives the business.
Thank you, Luxembourg. The journey continues.”
For two days, Fleet Europe Days turned Luxembourg into a meeting point for those shaping the future of fleets in Europe.
For us, it was the perfect opportunity to:
- Testar mensagens;
- Ouvir desafios reais de gestores de frota;
- Validar que a visão do JAT Fleet, menos tarefas manuais, mais decisões suportadas em dados, está alinhada com o que o mercado procura.
To everyone who stopped by the stand, asked the tough questions, took part in the demos, or was simply curious, thank you.
The road ahead promises to be faster, more connected, and smarter.
Just as we want fleet management to be.
