Estoril once again became a meeting point for those who deal daily with the challenges of corporate mobility. At the 13th Fleet Management Conference of Fleet Magazine, JAT Fleet was present to reinforce a simple but decisive idea: the future of fleet management is not measured by the number of vehicles, but by time, control, and the operational intelligence with which they are managed.
With a dynamic presence at stand A21, and a buggy waiting to spice up the experience, the team brought technology, closeness, and a touch of off-road excitement to the country’s largest gathering of fleet managers.
The conference where the fleet management ecosystem comes together
The Fleet Management Conference has, for several years, been one of the key moments in the sector in Portugal. It brings together fleet managers, operations managers, retailers, automotive brands, leasing companies, and technology solution providers for a day dedicated to discussing trends, sharing experiences, and, above all, finding more efficient ways to manage vehicles and teams.
Stand A21: technology, closeness, and a buggy waiting
At stand A21, the starting point was always the same: understanding how each company is currently managing its fleet. Some already have a structured system in place, while others are still juggling spreadsheets, emails, and scattered information. In both cases, the conversation inevitably ended up focusing on three themes: time, control, and visibility.
Throughout the day, the JAT Fleet team showed how the platform helps to:
- Optimize operations, centralizing information that was previously scattered across different tools;
- Simplify processes, automating administrative tasks that consume hours of work;
- Reduce costs, through greater control over maintenance, vehicle usage, consumption, and TCO;
- Make faster decisionswith access to real-time data instead of static reports.
And because events are also about experiences, visitors to the stand were challenged to discover the code that unlocked a buggy adventure. It wasn’t just a game, it was a way of showing that fleet management can, and should, be more dynamic, more engaging, and less stuck in “autopilot” routines.

Take control of your fleet.
Intelligent management, predictable maintenance and total control - all on a single platform.
The future does not belong to those who have more cars
Throughout the conference, one message guided all of the team’s conversations: the future does not belong to those who have more cars, but to those who have more time, more control, and greater operational intelligence.
In a context where costs are rising, teams are under pressure to do more with less, and service demands keep increasing, fleet management is no longer just about knowing where vehicles are or how much is spent on fuel. It is about being able to:
- anticipate problems instead of reacting to unexpected issues;
- plan maintenance based on real data;
- quickly identify where time and money are being lost;
- turn information into concrete decisions.
It is precisely here that JAT Fleet positions itself as a fleet management platform: reducing administrative time, preventing failures before they happen, and giving teams the visibility they were missing to act with confidence.
The team that accelerates both on and off the track
The presence at Estoril included Vítor Pranto, Catarina Marques Fernandes, Nuno Pedro Sá e Olga Lameira, who were on the front line welcoming visitors, running demos, and exploring new opportunities. They were also joined by José Santos and our Hélder Costa, accelerating behind the scenes and on the ground, ensuring that the experience delivered at the event was aligned with what JAT Fleet delivers to its customers on a day-to-day basis.
And because the brand is driven as much by technology as by attitude, the team decided to take the concept one step further: customized All Stars, embroidered with the logo. If the conversation is about innovation and a shift in mindset, it should be done with consistency, from the platform to the visual details.
The sneakers were the fun part. The rest was serious work: showcasing real-world cases, answering tough questions, challenging old habits, and proving that there is a smarter way to manage fleets than relying on manual processes and fragmented information.
After Estoril, time continues to be the driving force
With the close of another edition of the Fleet Management Conference, there is a clear sense that the sector is moving toward a more digital, more integrated, and more data-driven approach to management. What also remains are the conversations that started at stand A21, the ideas exchanged, and the challenges shared by those who, every day, must ensure vehicles deliver, costs stay under control, and operations never stop.
For JAT Fleet, Estoril was further confirmation that this is the right path: helping companies reclaim their most valuable resource, time, and use it where it truly makes a difference.”
The cars may be what you notice at first glance.
But for us, the true engine of a fleet will continue to be time, intelligence, and the ability to make better decisions, every day.
